🚀 Getting Started with Bitwave Payments

Welcome to Bitwave Payments—your streamlined gateway to digital asset payables. Follow these quick-start instructions to get your first payment processed.

✅ Prerequisites
• Access to the Bitwave platform
• A self-custodial wallet (e.g., Metamask) loaded with ETH or USDC on the Base network

🛠️ Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Log In
    Access your Bitwave Org (e.g., Sales Payment Demo Org). Need access? Contact your admin.

  2. Connect Wallet
    Use the top-right “Connect Wallet” button. Ensure you’re on the Base network.

  3. Add a Payment Method
    Go to Payment Methods → Add Payment Method:
    • Select a subsidiary (optional for now)
    • Assign a name (required)
    • Ignore Coinbase Prime (fix in progress)
    • Click Save

  4. Create & Pay Bills
    Go to the Bills section:
    • Search for test bills (e.g., your name in CAPS)
    • Select 2–3 bills
    • Click Create Batch → Pay Batch

  5. System Validations
    • KYT/AML checks
    • Address whitelisting
    • Exchange rate check (for volatile tokens)

  6. Confirm with Metamask
    Approve the transaction when prompted.

  7. Track Payment Status
    Visit Payment Batches. The status will update to Completed once confirmed.

🔐 Whitelisting Vendor Addresses

Strengthen security with pre-approved payment flows.

Steps:
1. Go to Network Configs
2. Select a supported network:
Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Stellar
Deploy two smart contracts:
• Payment batching
• Vendor whitelist
3. Add authorized signers
4. Navigate to Vendors → select a vendor → manage addresses
5. Initiate penny test via email
6. After validation, push to whitelist
(Optionally add to Coinbase Prime address book)

🧩 Configuring Payment Methods

Bitwave supports multiple wallet types:
• 🔓 Self-custodial (e.g., Metamask)
• 🏦 Custodial (e.g., Coinbase Prime)

To Add a Method:
1. Navigate to Payment Methods
2. Click Add Payment Method
3. Select wallet type
4. Provide a name & subsidiary (if needed)
5. Click Save

💸 Performing a Payment

Workflow:
1. Create a batch of bills
2. Click Pay Batch
3. The system checks:
• Bill eligibility
• Address whitelist status
• KYT/AML compliance
• Real-time exchange rate
4. Metamask prompt appears → click Approve
5. Monitor the real-time status updates
